Мастер академске студије конципиране су у складу са Законом о високом образовању Републике Србије и Болоњском декларацијом. Студије на овом програму трају 2 семестра и носе укупно 60 ЕСПБ, што са претходно остварених 240 ЕСПБ на основним академским студијама чини укупно 300 ЕСПБ. Академски назив који се стиче завршетком ових студија је мастер економиста. По завршетку ових студија студент може уписати докторске академске студије. Мастер академске студије трају 1 годину (2 семестра) и одвијају се на једном студијском програму – Економија са 7 модула и то:

По окончању образовног процеса, на студијском програму Економија, као базични исход мастер академских студија, мастер економиста стиче теоријско знање, практичне вештине и способност за сложеније економске анализе, разумевање кључних релација, процеса и веза на различитим нивоима одвијања привредног живота (микроекономски, секторски, регионални, национални, међународни), примену сложених метода економске и статистичке анализе у решавању бројних економских проблема. Посебно се наглашава истраживачки оријентисана примена стечених знања и вештина на решавање проблема који се јављају у професији, као и развијање способности за коришћење стручне и научне литературе у даљем академском образовању, на нивоу докторских академских студија. У зависности од усмерења на студијском програму Економија, на мастер академским студијама, ови су исходи допуњени модуларно-специфичним исходима.

Студијски програм Економија организован је у два семестра и носи укупно 60 ЕСПБ. У оба семестра студент стиче по 30 ЕСПБ. У првом семестру, студент слуша и полаже 6 испита од којих су три обавезна, а три изборна. Свака дисциплина изводи се са фондом од 4 часа недељно, а сваки од предмета носи 5 ЕСПБ. Фактор избоности по модулима је 47,5%. Други семестар је предвиђен за стручну праксу (3 ЕСПБ) и израду мастер рада, а његову структуру чини: Предмет завршни рад (10 ЕСПБ) и Завршни рад (17 ЕСПБ).

Master’s academic studies are designed in accordance with the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia and the Bologna Declaration. The duration of this program is 2 semesters, carrying a total of 60 ECTS credits, which, combined with the 240 ECTS credits earned during the Bachelor’s academic studies, amounts to a total of 300 ECTS credits. The academic title awarded upon completion of these studies is Master Economist. Upon graduation, students are eligible to enroll in doctoral academic studies. Master’s academic studies last 1 year (2 semesters) and are conducted within a single study program—Economics, comprising 7 modules as follows:

1. General Economics
2. Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management
3. Finance, Banking, and Insurance
4. Business Management
5. Marketing
6. International Management
7. Tourism Management

Upon completion of the educational process in the Economics study program, as the core learning outcome of the Master’s academic studies, a Master Economist acquires theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and the ability to perform complex economic analyses; understands key relationships, processes, and connections at various levels of economic activity (microeconomic, sectoral, regional, national, international); and applies advanced methods of economic and statistical analysis to solve a wide range of economic problems. Particular emphasis is placed on a research-oriented application of acquired knowledge and skills to address professional challenges, as well as the development of the ability to use professional and scientific literature for further academic advancement at the doctoral level. Depending on the specialization within the Economics study program, these outcomes are supplemented with module-specific learning outcomes at the Master’s level.

The Economics study program is organized in two semesters and carries a total of 60 ECTS credits. In both semesters, the student earns 30 ECTS credits per semester. In the first semester, the student attends and takes six exams, three of which are compulsory and three elective. Each course comprises 4 hours of instruction per week, and each subject carries 5 ECTS credits. The proportion of each module in the total assessment is 47.5%. The second semester is designated for professional practice (3 ECTS) and the preparation of the Master’s thesis, structured as follows: Thesis course (10 ECTS) and Master’s thesis (17 ECTS).

Завршетком мастер академских студија на Економском факултету у Нишу и одбраном дипломског (мастер) рада стиче се академски назив мастер  економиста.

 Сврха студијског програма је образовање студената за професију мастер економиста у складу са потребама друштва.

Студијски програм Економија конципиран је тако да мастер економистима омогући стицање компетенција у области истраживачко оријентисаног решавања комплексних економских проблема, односно проучавању теоријских и практичних аспеката сложеније економске анализе и као такав је намењен студентима заинтересованим за аналитичко продубљивање својих знања. Завршетком овог студијског програма студенти стичу знања потребна за анализу и увид у разрађен систем националних рачуна, као и могућност шире разраде и анализе економских проблема.

Студијски програм Економија, на мастер академским студијама, је намењен студентима који желе да, после завршетка основних академских студија, наставе даље школовање како би стекли нова и продубили постојећа знања из области опште економије; рачуноводства, ревизије и финансијског управљања; финансија, банкарства и осигурања; менаџмента или из области међународног пословања.

Upon completion of the Master’s academic studies at the Faculty of Economics in Niš and the defense of the Master’s thesis, the academic title of Master Economist is awarded.

The purpose of the study program is to educate students for the profession of Master Economist in accordance with the needs of society.

The Economics study program is designed to enable Master Economists to acquire competencies in research-oriented approaches to solving complex economic problems, that is, to study both theoretical and practical aspects of advanced economic analysis. As such, it is intended for students interested in deepening their analytical knowledge. Upon completion of this study program, students gain the knowledge necessary to analyze and understand the detailed system of national accounts, as well as the ability to further develop and analyze economic problems.

The Economics study program, at the Master’s academic level, is intended for students who wish to continue their education after completing their Bachelor’s studies in order to acquire new knowledge and deepen their existing understanding in the fields of General Economics; Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management; Finance, Banking, and Insurance; Management; or International Business.

Циљ студијског програма Економија је постизање компетенција, знања, вештина и способности из области економије. То посебно укључује стицање академских знања која се односе на теорије, принципе и процесе у економији, укључујући вредновање, критичко разумевање и њихову примену у процесу обављања различитих активности у пракси; затим, решавање сложених економских проблема у области учења или рада (самостално или тимски) у непредвидивим ситуацијама; и вођење средње сложених пројеката, организовање, контролисање и вредновање концепата, модела, принципа теорије и праксе уз непрестано унапређивање постојеће праксе. Један од циљева овог студијског програма јесте образовање студената који ће имати позитиван однос према значају целоживотног учења у личном и професионалном развоју. Завршетком овог студијског програма студенти имају могућност да упишу докторске академске студије.

The objective of the Economics study program is to achieve competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of economics. This particularly includes acquiring academic knowledge related to economic theories, principles, and processes, including their evaluation, critical understanding, and application in practical activities; solving complex economic problems in learning or work contexts (independently or in teams) under unpredictable circumstances; and managing moderately complex projects, organizing, controlling, and evaluating concepts, models, and theoretical and practical principles while continuously improving existing practices. One of the objectives of this study program is to educate students who will have a positive attitude toward the importance of lifelong learning in their personal and professional development. Upon completion of this study program, students are eligible to enroll in Doctoral Academic Studies.

Студенти који заврше мастер академске студије, студијски програм Економија, компетентни су да примене стечена знања, вештине и способности у решавању сложених економских проблема, да их примене у пракси, као и да наставе школовање уколико се за то определе. Компетенције укључују, пре свега, развој способности критичног мишљења, способности анализе проблема, синтезе решења, предвиђање понашања одабраног решења са јасном представом шта су добре, а шта лоше стране одабраног. Компетенције које означавају завршетак мастер академских студија стичу студенти:

1. који су показали знање и разумевање у области економије, које допуњује знање стечено на основним академским студијама и представља основу за развијање критичког мишљења и примену знања
2. који имају способност да интегришу знање, решавају сложене проблеме и да расуђују на основу доступних информација које садрже промишљања о друштвеним и етичким одговорностима повезаним са применом њиховог знања и судова
3. који су у стању да на јасан и недвосмислен начин пренесу знање и начин закључивања стручној и широј јавности. Свршени студенти овог нивоа студија поседују компетенцију за праћење и примену новина у струци, као и за развој способности за тимски рад и развој професионалне етике.

Students who complete the Master’s Academic Studies in the Economics program are competent to apply the knowledge, skills, and abilities they have acquired in solving complex economic problems, to implement them in practice, and to continue their education if they choose to do so. These competencies primarily include the development of critical thinking, problem analysis, solution synthesis, and the ability to anticipate the outcomes of chosen solutions, with a clear understanding of their advantages and disadvantages. Graduates of the Master’s program acquire competencies that include:

1. Demonstrating knowledge and understanding in the field of economics, which complements the knowledge acquired during Bachelor’s studies and forms the basis for developing critical thinking and applying knowledge;
2. The ability to integrate knowledge, solve complex problems, and make judgments based on available information, taking into account social and ethical responsibilities related to the application of their knowledge and decisions;
3. The ability to clearly and unambiguously communicate knowledge and reasoning to both professional and broader audiences. Graduates at this level also possess the competence to monitor and apply innovations in their field, as well as the skills necessary for effective teamwork and the development of professional ethics.
