The 5th International Summer School of Economics (ISSE) is to be held in the first half of July, 2010 (5-9 July, 2010) and is planned to last for five days. The target group that would take active participation at the Summer School are the students of the final year at the Faculties of Economics from the country and abroad (European countries mainly). The place where the school will be held is Niška banja.
The title of the 5th International Summer School of Economics is Competitiveness under the Conditions of Global Economy, and is formulated considering all those extremely complex and dynamic changes in the environment.
This global topic of the Summer School of Economics will be elaborated in several subthemes, in the form of lectures, numerous workshops and simulations.
Our intention is to provide the students of economics with the possibility to complement the theoretic knowledge acquired during their official studies with the examples of good business practice, which is of great importance for their further education. This interactive kind of approach represents a source of information and the foundation for the betterment of the whole economic surrounding in this part of Europe.
This year, for the first time, students are also able to participate with written papers (essays) optionally. The best student’s paper will gain appropriate award. Detailed instructions for essays will be published soon.
